Asus ACPI Driver 6.1

Asus ACPI Driver is a system-level Windows driver for ASUS laptops and desktops that exposes the hardware’s ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) features to the operating system. It enables power and thermal management, battery and charging status, sleep and hibernate states, lid and sensor events, display brightness and backlight control, and Fn/hotkey functions such as volume, brightness, airplane mode, and keyboard lighting. It also provides the interface used by ASUS utilities and services to communicate with the embedded controller.

• Typically preinstalled; install or update only the version intended for your exact model and Windows release (via the ASUS support site or Windows Update).
• Uninstalling or disabling it may cause hotkeys and certain power features to stop working.
• Runs in the background and does not include a user interface.
